Bill and Miss (plus three)

Jacob had a late start this morning.  He didn't wake up until about 7:15 which is really late for him.  He didn't go to sleep last night until 8:45...maybe that has something to do with it.  We started our day by going to church.  Jacob is getting more comfortable with going to Sunday School.  The teachers say he's getting better each week.  He especially likes it when they have time outside.  He usually cries when we drop him off and then again when he sees us coming to pick him up...I just hope he's not crying the whole time.  We did resort to sending him with his pacifier, just to give the teacher a break!

This evening after dinner we went to the park again.  It was finally cool outside and the playground is in the shade.  He had a good time running around with his truck, bouncing on the bridge with daddy and then with mommy and going down the slide with each of us.  I have to admit, we had a good time too...I love going down the slide and racing him! While at the park he met a little "friend" named Aubrey, a 2 1/2 year old cutie.  They played with the truck together and then toward the end of our visit they started to go down the slide together.  I must say Aubrey was a little aggressive because she grabbed Jacob's hand and they went to the top of the slide together (holding hands!) It was adorable.  They did that a few more times and then it was time for us to go home.  Aubrey said she wanted to kiss Jacob goodbye!  WHAT!?!?!?!?  Before I knew it, she was puckering up and laying one on him.  I didn't manage to get the actual kiss on camera, but I did get the puckering up part.  Jacob's response?  He gave her a high five....typical boy!  I'm sure Jacob will be looking out for Aubrey the next time we are at the park!  You can check out our pictures to see more of the two of them together and some video clips too!  It really was too cute!
